cONCRETE

We have the knowledge and expertise to handle various concrete forming projects of varying sizes and complexities. Multiple crews focus mainly on our production type of concrete forming including concrete curbs/toe walls, concrete sidewalk/walkways, concrete roadways and slab on grade type of concrete placements.  We also employ a concrete crew that specializes in more complex applications of concrete forming and pouring.  This crew specializes in concrete retaining walls (of varying sizes and complexity), concrete footings/foundations, concrete basement and shear walls (including shafts and stairwells), concrete accessibility ramps, and concrete stairs and steps.

GENERAL CONTRACTING

Recently, we have decided to expand our services into General Contracting. We are excited to build more experience in this category and work alongside existing clients and other subcontractors. As always, quality control and assurance will be an ongoing service until total completion of our projects.

SITE SERVICING

With over 25 years of experience, we have the knowledge and capacity to provide the highest level of service and quality from the early phases of the construction process to the final stages. Our site improvement services include parking lots and roads, curbs and sidewalks, sub-grade stabilization, erosion control, drainage improvements, landscaping, interlocking, cleaning and grubbing, and excavation. We work closely with municipalities, institutions, and private sector clients to help take their vision and turn it into a reality.

Bevcon’s number one priority will and always has been the safety of all its employees. Our Management team is committed to the protection of employees from injury, occupational hazards, and occupational disease. On a daily basis, every crew conducts a job hazard analysis with the entire crew before any work takes place. With the help of our employees, Bevcon developed job site procedures and practices regarding daily job site tasks that Bevcon entails. With the proper training, policies, and certifications in place, we have been able to provide a safe environment for our employees.

In 2018, Bevcon took the initiative to pursue the status of becoming a COR-certified company. Certificate of Recognition (COR) is an accreditation program that verifies a construction-related company's health and safety program has reached a national standard in Ontario. COR is now becoming a mandatory requirement in many contracts, as owners view it as a key implementation to ensure that the contractors they are hiring practice the highest standards of safety while conducting their work.
